On a weekly level, ShopperTrak’s NRSE reported sales for the week ending December 12th were up 1.1 percent as compared to last year, while weekly sales increased 18.2 percent versus the previous seven day period ending December 5th. Bill Martin, co-founder of ShopperTrak says, “Next Saturday is Super Saturday. We are predicting Super Saturday to have the second highest daily total of GAFO Retail Sales for the season, eclipsed only by Black Friday.”
